I should be in bed right now. I stayed up way too late finishing my cousin's Lego Star Wars. This Saturday morning class at Ashland is pointless for people withdecent computer skills. It is a four week lab for no credit, and I am only attending two sessions: the first one and this one. I was told I had to attend this one because we are 'learning' the library internet system, which is basic stuff. I'm so bored. I'm trying to type quietly. I wish I could just go home. Soon.
By the way, I now have my own daily comic strip. If you know me well, your first reaction is probably something like, "Oh my Jesus. Oh my Tom Cruise. Why in the hell would you try to draw, especially a strip a day! My six year old could do better, and he's parapalegic." Well, rest assured, that although the art may be bad, it will continue to improve, and I think the concept is solid. It's called Excerpts from The Morning Show, and is essentially highlights from a radio show called The Morning Show currently available in several markets and slowly spreading. The hosts are named, creatively, 'Nick' and 'Jimmy'. Shortly I will be adding a recurring sports caser, similiarly showing my creative drive by calling him 'Nate'. In a few weeks I'll add a new girl (she actually will be fictional), and probably an intern named 'David the Weasel'. Stay tuned and check back every day for the strip!
