According to an AP poll, the hero of the year, with 13%, beating out Bono, Oprah, Jesus, Barack Obama, and yes, even our troops was George W. Bush. Reading that, my heart wept a little. But I was thankful it was only 13%. Then I read the biggest villians. Of course Kim Jong Il, President of Iran, Sadam and bin Laden were tops, but the #1 vote getter, who scored a whopping 25%, beating sadam's 6% and bin laden's 8% easily was George W. Bush. I take comfort that his villian score was much higher, but wow, when we're polarized, we're polarized.
In other news, the late President Ford thought Bush really screwed up by invading Iraq, and my faith is further restored in Americans.
And John Edwards and two other guys no one cares about entered the race of 2008. Now I need to go get Obama book so I can tell people why to vote for him. :)
Qop!
Sorry, none today.
